The TrauMMA Combat Movement is coming to the DC Area for UFC 137

This Saturday, October 29th, the TrauMMA Combat movement is rolling into the DC area in support of our newest fighter, Matt "Meathead" Mitrione, in his Co-Main Event scrap with Cheick Kongo at UFC 137.

This promises to be an unforgettable event as Matt will be the first fighter to carry the TrauMMA Combat banner into the UFC's octagon as he looks to make a big step up in the Heavyweight division rankings.  Come on down, hang out with the TrauMMA Combat crew and BECOME PART OF THE MOVEMENT....

Where: Caddies on Cordell (4922 Cordell Avenue, Bethesda, MD)

When: October 29, 2011. Party begins at 7:00pm with the prelims being televised at 8:00pm and the PPV beginning at 9:00pm.

There will plenty of prizes and giveaways at the Bethesda event and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Our Military Kids organization out of McLean, VA.

TrauMMA Combat's own Daniel Cormier stepped into the cage with his future opponent Josh Barnett and the legendary Bas Rutten last night on HDNet's Inside MMA for a preview of the upcoming Strikeforce Heavyweight Grand Prix Finale.  DC's hand is healing nicely, thanks to his being part Wolverine, and he's getting focused on "The Warmaster" (f/k/a The Baby-face Assassin).  Both men have knockout power on their feet but, this could prove to be a grappling clinic as the former Olympic wrestler Cormier locks up with Barnett's nasty catch wrestling style.  See Bas' breakdown below...
